good
well guys- i'm feeling better :o) i went to the doctor thurs and got some meds and im starting to get back to normal. i've really loved not working for the past week. i have to go back tomorrow and im not looking forward to it. having this past week off has really eliminated most of the misery in my life lol i know that sounds dramatic but i've really been happier. even though i've been sick i've generally been in a much better mood since i havent had to work. it's great!
i keep dreaming of the day when i'll get to quit the library, get married and move in with jens but i know i'll probably have to get another job shortly thereafter. it's not completely necessary but it would just be better for me to do so in order to pay off my own credit card bill and save for a trip to france and fun stuff like that :o) so i figure if we live in ft worth then i might try to work at central market or somewhere like that.
anyway, my mom and i went to a bridal show in ft worth yesterday and it was really fun! they had a fashion show and tons of vendors: cake bakers, caterers, djs, florists, photographers, videographers, salons and anything else you might need for your big day! most of them were giving away free stuff and i signed up for all of it! i ended up winning a one hour swedish massage from the first vendor booth we went to! i was so excited! :o) i also registered at tuxedo junction (cuz they're affiliated with david's bridal and have the same colors, etc.) and we got a really good deal on tuxes. all the guys get a discount on their tuxes, free shoes, free vests, and since jens has 4 groomsmen he gets his tux free! isnt that awesome? im really happy about that. they also have little tuxes for toddlers and rory's gonna look so cute in one of those! ;o) the main things we were looking at were cake bakers and photographers. i think we found some that we really like and so we're gonna try to set up appts with them soon. near the end of the show i was actually interviewed by tcu news! i was a little nervous about it but it went well. i really wonder if anyone i knew saw me lol overall, it was totally worth it to go to that show and i recommend it to any bride :o)
today my mom and i went and got some ribbon that we need and i was so glad that we finally found fuschia! it was really hard to come by. im also in the process of getting invitations and im really happy with the ones jens's friend made up for me as samples. im so glad she can do them for us :o) aaahhh it's coming up fast and im really getting excited about all of it. the more i get to do for the wedding the giddier i get! :oD
