Oh man... Its been far too long once again... except it doesn't feel like it has been, this summer is just flyin by (fine by me!)...

First off... happy fourth! I had to go into work today, which was a total joke because NO ONE develops their pictures on the fourth! I got so bored that sweeping the floor and taking out the garbages (neither of which are my jobs) sounded too entertaining to pass up.

Anyway, work is not important-- my family is in town! A bunch of crazy Webers have come to spend the fourth with me... My uncle Jim got in thursday night and everyone else came on friday... let me tell you-- if you think i'm in any way weird or crazy-- you've never seen me with my family. And if you DID see me with my family... I think you'd better understand just where I learned it from. Take, for example, Friday night. So, before everyone came out here, we went to toys r us to get a bunch of toys for the pool and stuff... and we got this huge thing of sidewalk chalk, right? well, friday night the kids played with it a bit, but later on, all of the adults were sitting around playing yahtzee... I got up to leave my cousin shelly a dr. pepper, and my uncle jim got my cheek with the chalk... and then he got this evil look in his eye.... well, i may have had it confused for genius. He decided it might be funny if we all put sidewalk chalk all over our faces... and you'll be glad to know that everyone in the room consented-- INCLUDING MY GRANDPARENTS.
so we all sat around and played yahtzee with chalk all over our faces... awesome, eh? we're insane. but good times have been had by all.

tonight we're gonna go watch the colorado rapids (soccer team) and check out the fireworks over that way... and then we'll all stay up late chit chatting like we do... or playing cards...

there are times in life when you feel like you can see some tiny blessing God has given you, some little thing you hadn't noticed but inspires a small amount of awe... this is not that time. My cup overfloweth.
