procrastination and stress.

Well, I am at it again. I am doing something other than what I should be doing which is reading a novel for history class. It is interesting..sort of, but I really can't seem to sit still in the quiet for long periods of time. So, I decided to update my LJ.
This morning I helped my mom and sister load my sister's stuff into her car and Mom's (well, really Dad's) truck. She is moving back to my parents' house....without her husband. It is a shame when good people like her have to go through bad crap like this. I am proud of her though. I am proud that she has decided that she can have a better life, a life she deserves; and she is taking the steps to get this new life. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to have to do that, to have to turn your life upside down. I love her, and I hope that she finds the happiness that she most definitely deserves.
My dad's uncle is in the ICU in the hospital in Dothan at the moment. Something to do with his heart...I am not quite sure. But if they can not do something about it in the next couple of days, he is coming to B'ham.

On a happier note: The weather has been great this week..well, until a couple of hours ago.
Yesterday my last class was canceled, so I ate at in the HUC with my sister and Jamie. (they were just up here to visit me, and we ate at the HUC b/c I could use my blazer bucks card)..We saw Josh and Beth there. Then when we got home, Brent came over to borrow a can opener. And today, I saw Ian and Mary Katherine. I had not met her before, but she is very nice. Anyway the point was that I have not seen those three boys (my neighbors) in a while and then all of a sudden I see all three in 24 hours. Ok, I must get back to reading about the World's Fair in Chicago in the 1890's.....architecture...murderer....a fair...
