Violas Rock
I joined an orchestra. The practices are on Sunday afternoons, which are very agreeable. The conductor is my old high school director. And there's another violist that lives nearby who is willing to give me rides.
I got an email from him today that lists the songs we are going to play this concert.
I have a top three list of my most favorite pieces to play as a violist. In no particular order:
1. Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis - R Vaughn Williams
2. Symphony 2: Finale - Sibelius
3. Symphony 7: Allegretto - Beethoven
Numbers 2 and 3 are on the list of what we're playing.
