Reposting some old stuff
The Chaldean for Kids book series is designed to teach the Chaldean language through English. The Chaldean words are spelled out phonetically in English so it is easy for anyone to learn. Each book is hardcover and includes an audio cd to demonstrate correct pronunciation. For young children who are unable to read yet, the cd is a great way for them to hear and learn the words orally. For those who can read, the cd is a wonderful tool to help practice the words. These books make it fun and easy for people of all ages and ethnicities who would like to learn about the Chaldean language and culture. They make wonderful gifts for new babies, baptisms, communions, birthdays, and holidays.

little story
A buzzing wakes me up. I slide on my glasses. 6 a.m. In college waking up at 6 a.m. is equal to waking up at 3 a.m. I turn off my alarm and contemplate going back to sleep but I have to go to work. I think as I realize everyone else will have at least a couple more hours in their warm bed. It's cold and I really don't want to be up, but I hop in the shower and get my day started. The water never heats up and I get out freezing. I'm kind of pissed but it's time for breakfast. I eat thinking all the while the food tastes like garbage. I leave to get on my first bus to start my 40 minute commute to work. It's very cold outside and I'm not happy at all as I get on the second bus to my thankless job. All the while, I am thinking life really sucks. Extremely tired, I dose off during the bus ride and wake up a few blocks past my stop. Damn it, I think as I walk the quarter mile to work. And then a homeless man crosses my path, and I realize how blessed and greedy I truly am.
