i have a lot on my mind right now, but it's a good thing. i was actually able to finish writing a song last night and it's not the same old stuff i usually write. but anyway, the churchills thing is going really well... i've learned so much from being on tour and seeing alex play so much... and just from rehearsals with the churchills. they know what they want tempo/feel wise and have really good ears for it. so, i'm really happy there...
BUT, sue and stuart want to hire me full time at the sign shop, with benefits and everything. i really like that job, a lot. i'm not sure what i'm going to do yet, but i'm going to try to get both things... the full time work with time off (non-paid) for tours and stuff. if that doesn't work, i'm going to see how high the sign shop will go salary-wise because if it was good enough, i'd reconsider the churchills thing full time. i'd love to settle down here, have a full time job, health benefits, a dog maybe, keep working at my own music locally/regionally, pay off my debt, stay close with everyone i really know here and concentrate on getting two full days back at the teaching studio... cause summer has really killed my schedule there. anyway, we'll see. christine is getting her wisdom teeth pulled this morning... ugh. that's no fun.
