wow.
i am at the frankfurt airport right now waiting until we can board the flight. the rest of the guys had to rebook their tickets, and they ended up on the same flight that i am on. there is so much to update on my website tour journal that i am just going to have to wait until i get home to do it. i have so many pictures and for lack of a better way to put it, unbelievable experiences to write and think about for a long time!! i think i am going to come back here sometime within the next year or so. we all became incredibly close with the band that we toured with for the last ten days (uncle ho)... really great musicians and people. this is kind of annoying where i am right now, because all these impatient people are standing close behind me waiting for this computer. but you know what? it is mine until i decide otherwise. i am a tourist in an airport and i get the free dickhead pass.
i can not wait to take a shower... i showered yesterday morning before our last gig at an outdoor festival, and we slept in the van on the way to the airport last night. crazy... we were organizing all our shit and consolidating our luggage into carry ons and check ins in the middle of the airport for about 2 hours! there was a man with a machine gun and a very intimidating outfit watching us the whole time while we stuffed guitar pedals, cables, power transformers and kiwis into everything we had. i threw away my steve madden look alike shoes for lack of space (they were old anyway) and put on clean socks, washed my face and brushed my teeth... felt much better. anyhow, this connection is painfully slow and i am getting tired of standing up (how is it an internet LOUNGE if you have to STAND at the pc the whole time???) i guess i am just a little tired right now. but man, this trip has been more amazing than i could have imagined.
