Red Tape dirge
Have just come across a article here which alleges that an IAS officer Gautam Goswami who was supposed to have helped a lot of poor people during the Bihar floods had actually cheated the people. This just further increases my cynicism towards the so called elite IAS. I don't think anyone keen on joining it has any pious inclinations of helping the poor. Those who have tried have increasingly faced infinite roadblocks.
