Trying but beautiful times. I can't encapsulate the joys and griefs of the month. But new and wonderful things came out of the near ashes of the tragedies within it. I met new frends, I found new music. I reconnected with old friends. I had some of the best meals and joyful gatherings in my life - and I started learning how to say good bye, a little bit at a time, to a friend who only made me feel safe for my entire life. I found resolve and forgiveness, and the power to let go. I found strength that I didn't know I had, and felt vulnerable for the first time in my life.
