Ever since I can remember I've been poppin my collar
So this weekend was soooooo fun that I felt a need to write about it. Plus I have some time on my hands. Friday night Tiff wanted to go out and so did I so we ended up crossing the border... to Canada. First we were supposed to go to some Coyote Ugly bar but after driving around in circles for like 1/2 an hour we decided to go to Casino Windsor. There we gambled not only our college education funds away but also our children's college educations lol. Just kidding not quite all of our life savings. I took 20 bucks out of the ATM and then I played this Wild Taxi ride game, put in 5 canadian bucks and after pressing random buttons made 23 bucks. I need to go back and play that game again! Then I lost the rest on the 5 cent slot machines. But hey I spent 20 bucks and I came out with 21 American dollars. So I really collected all of 1 dollar lol. Tiff however did not come out so well - she spent like 30 bucks and came back with nothing lol. And did I mention that the border patrol was awesome and there was no line to go into Canada or out? Maybe thats because we went at like 12:30 in the morning and left at like 4 in the morning lol. Yesterday, the Fearsum Foursum was reunited!!! Michelle, Tiff, Gail, and I went to eat at the usual spot - Plaza's. Mmmmmm Mexican food. And then we went to Altered State - which is State Theater downtown turned into a club on Saturday nights. A "classy establishment" - so classy that they serve shots in solo cups and Shirley Temples in Pepsi cardboard cups lol. I did get to try two new drinks - so lo kai? and mandori sour thanks to Gail. Overall, the club did look sweet even though it mostly ghetto people hangin out there. I did get hit on a lot somehow and 2 guys asked for my phone number. The one guy Greg goes to U of M boooooooo!!!!!!!! When I told him that I went to MSU, he said "I wanna be your friend not your enemy" Awww cute but cheesy lol. He's home in Canton for the summer and wants to hang out I guess. We'll see if he calls or not if not whatev I'm not stressin about it. And the other guy just seemed silly but I gave him my number anyways - he's like "I'll call you Monday" see if you remember me! I said "Yea lets see if YOU remember ME". Haha I don't even remember his name. So I've been having a lot of fun at home. This week I need to somewhat buckle down and start studying for the GRE which is coming up soon. I just really needed a break after finals. I realized since I've been home how much I really missed everything here. I really missed my mom, Waddles the cat, and my Fearsum. I applied for a job at the vet clinic in Petco this week - I don't know if I'll get it but I figured it was worth a shot. Going back to EL wouldn't be such a bad thing heck I might be ready to go back after a month and a half.
