Dead Day
Ok ok ok so! Alright, turning down the excitement a few notches. Last night was Eller's Night with the Stars at the new JW Marriott at Star Pass. I had a yummy dinner of caesar salad, huge lasagna, squash and taramasu with coffee for dessert. MMM.. I ended up wearing my dress that my mom washed. It was perfect and I got lots of compliments and that made me feel really good. The event was really nice but I felt like such a slacker. One of the girls receiving an awards had a 4.1 GPA, which I don't think is possible...typo? At the end, one of the MIS professors closed in saying, "and for you seniors we have a special surprise," *points to the DJ* "Schoooool's out for summer" blares. It was cute.
We didn't stay to dance and ended up back at Stephanie's apartment killing time until the AKPsi Party. The theme was "Dress up like an active member." Being me, I totally forgot to bring a change of clothes so I thought I was stuck in my dress. Michelle borrowed one of Stephanie's Hooter's tops and Steph dressed up like Marco. Then they had the crazy idea to straighten my hair. This scared me very much.
But it turned out great! I think I might invest in a straightening iron. The reactions I got at the party made me feel so good. All the girls told me I should wear it like that more often and all the guys told me I was hot. Stephanie let me borrow clothes so I didn't feel like myself at all. I had a great time.
Around 2 I got home and went to bed. I did not get up for the french review but I did head to the library for free pizza. And here I am. I rolled out of bed and was happy to find that my hair looked the same as it did last night. I could get used to this. I did all the searching and now I should do some renewals but that won't take very long at all. Dumbydee dumb dumb...
