Spring 2005 Bid Night a huge success
Last night was such a blast! Best party this year by far and probably the best time I've had in a while. I somehow convinced my parents to let my sister come with me and my friends to bid night. Something about her getting her first real party experience with a guide and not by herself won us the case.
We drove over to my house and got ready. I could tell she was really exited and nervous. I actually really liked the outfit I put together and the way I did my makeup. It makes a difference if you feel like you look nice sometimes I think. So we drove over to ADPi to meet up with everyone and Amanda and Sabrina from AKPsi were there! After wrangling all the girls together, we piled into our cars and drove over to AGR.
Bid night is soooooo much fun!! omg. I thought we might have some trouble getting the girls who weren't on the list in, since it was a Gamma event, but it was ok since we were with ADPi. Haley can get you in anywhere.
As soon as we got there we headed to the dance floor and enjoyed the surprisingly good DJ. I had soooo much fun dancing! I don't know why, but I was just in the mood to be at a party and really letting go on the dance floor the way I can home alone in my bedroom but hardly ever in public. Within 5 minutes both Steph and I were dancing with guys and it was a funny sister-bonding moment. Did I mention how much fun I had?
Usually at bid nights, or frat parties in general the guy to girl ratio is about 1 to 4. This one was quite favorable and most of the guys were really good looking and nicely dressed. Oh I was happy.
I also ran into Linda, her roommates and a newly inducted pledge Danny who is mighty cute. I half seriously "called him" to Sabrina and Amanda, lol. That seems to be the trend this semester because a lot of the newly inducted pledges are really cute. Let the bloodbath begin.. No but really I hate when girls fight over guys, I don't think it will get too out of hand.
Hrmm what else... we left at about 1:30. I was dead tired, not to mention terribly sweaty from dancing the night away. I drove home because Courtney had been playing beer pong. I don't know why but driving her volvo was really fun. Ok that just sounds wrong, lol. The girls invited my sister and I to a private concert they're having at the house next friday. I'm so excited. The guy performing is an up and coming solo artist and really really cute. It should be great fun.
