It's over! I made it! I'm alive! and I'm sure you ALL want to hear EVERYTHING about it, and I'll tell you, it's quite amusing.
SOOOOOO
My day started off at 8:30, at that point I took the valium(sp?), the start of my loopyness. By the time I got to the doctor's office at 9:15, I was already almost out of it. So I get there, and the nurse starts putting in all of the hear monitor stuff and the oxygen tube up my nose. Then Dr. Little comes in and attempts to start the IV. He started with my left hand, wrapping it in warm wash cloths to get the vein to come through since my fingers were ice cold, but it didn't work. So he went to my right hand, and got the needle thingy in, but it wasn't bleeding! So he had to go back to my left. He got the needle in, and it started bleeding, but the IV junk wasn't going in! So after fussing w/ all of that, he concluded that I had veins, "the size of a gnat's @$$" and it would come in handy if I ever got knifed. Then the fun stuff, he started the sleepy medicine. At first I couldn't tell the difference, and then all of a sudden, everything went fuzzy, and I was GONE! so long, farewell, out of it. When I woke up (apparently i was bawling my eyes out) the nurses were like "look at your pretty teeth" and they shoved the case in my face, but I couldn't see through the tears. Then I remember them taking me to daddy's car, and I saw mom somewhere along the way, and the whole time we were making our trip they were talking to me, I guess to keep me awake. But then I was out again. Next I remember mommy's chair, daddy taking my shoes off, and I guess an hour later Mindy coming in, only she got daddy's chair. Then I guess I woke up about 3 hours later. Then mommy had to feed me O:) I got like an oz of gatorade, and around 2 I got my first dose of jello. I remember that my lip felt like a balloon, and it stayed that way until today.
Today was the best part, Emily and Kaity showed up w/ ice cream custard stuff! Thank you so much for remember guys! I must have looked like a mess though. At least we don't have puffy cheeks like a chipmunk, although I think dad has been waiting for that part so he can laugh at us. This morning I graduated to scrambled eggs, but that didn't work well, so I was back to jello. I had a total of 13 pills today, thankfully it wasn't 15 because I didn't need the last dose of pain medication. Scott showed up to deliver the music that mr. Bergman arranged for our sextuplet thingy, and said I had chocolate all over my face, but I have news for you mister, it was brusises!!!!!!!Don't you feel bad.
I guess that's all, i'm too spaced to remember most of it, if I remember, i'll add.
Goodnight!
