powerless in palm bay?

[just in case anybody's worrying (not like he ever talks this much, so i don't know why you would be), the ranagar left a phone message at my house sometime mid-day to tell me he was "still powerless, had no phone," & was at the mall b/c that was the only place he could get cell reception, about to pick a food-court table from which to make some business-related calls. i'm not buying the "powerless" comment. he is, after all, the ranagar. i will, however, buy lacking electricical connectivity so as to deny us his online presence for days on end...]
