My (soon to be ex-) wife moved out on Friday. She has primary physical custody of our two boys (Nicholas, 5yrs and Taylor, 18 mo).  They were with me most of the weekend as she was preparing the house, on Sunday she picked them up.  Watching them drive away was the most heart wrenching experience of my life - even though I know they only live 15 ( Read more... )

It just took last night for it to really sink in that I don't have to be married to mom to still be dad. I kept having visions of the "favorite uncle who takes the kids to disney world and feeds them chocolate cake for breakfast every other weekend to trick them into wanting to come back that they happen to call dad".

Lost the bedroom set, recliner and the 52" TV, but I kept the dishes and silverware.

true enough. you're already dad. they'll wanna come back anyway. my aunt's route was chocolate pancakes (with peanut butter and M&Ms on top. ) peanut butter has protein at least! :)

you need to work on those negotiation skills! at least you got the silverware this time. oh and hurry up and buy your own bedroom set. don't wait until wife #3! *grin*

Nah, this time I got exactly what I *really* wanted. Joint legal custody, no visitation restrictions and no lawyers. I was fully planning to give them the house and everything in it that I didn't have before we got together in exchange for both the documents and the kind of relationship with Shannen that would allow me to be the father that I have always wanted to be.

Well, here's my dilemma about #3. Do you believe in...

- 3rd time's the charm
- 3 strikes and you're out OR
- 3-fold retribution?

Scary thoughts, all.

well at least you got good stuff. :)

all 3. *grin*

she'll be better than either #1 or #2, if you screw it up it'll be worse than either.... and you'll never be happy again (retribution)

heh.

or how about this one??? 1st is the worst, 2nd is the best, 3rd is the one with the hairy chest....

All I have to say is that laser hair removal is cheaper than breast implants, long term counseling or frontal lobotomies!

excellent! :)

make sure the place you choose is certified by the FDA....:)

HAIR REMOVAL

The popularity of laser hair removal has increasingly grown, prompting many laser manufacturers to conduct research and seek FDA clearance for their lasers for this indication. The market is growing so quickly that FDA cannot maintain an up-to-date list of all laser manufacturers whose devices have been cleared for hair removal, as this list continues to change. To learn if a specific manufacturer has received FDA clearance, you can check FDA's Website at http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/databases.html under the 510(k) database. You will need to know the manufacturer or device name of the laser. You can also call FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health, Consumer Staff, at 1-888-INFO-FDA or 301-827-3990, fax your request to 301-443-9535 or send an e-mail to: DSMICA@cdrh.fda.gov.
