Now with that bit of cynicism out of the way...
Just saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Hmm. Still not entirely sure what to say about it as a whole... I guess I'll stream-of conscious it.
- I liked the opening, but they cut out one of my favorite parts from the book, where Dudley tells his parents that they should trust Harry. We missed that bit of development from Dudley. For shame.
-Jesus Christ, there could not have been MORE pandering to the Harry/Hermione shippers in this movie. Not That There's Anything Wrong With That, but jeez. It was fucking PALPABLE.
-It was decently faithful to the book, I should say. I could predict a few lines. It's been a while since I read DH, though.
-I dunno, something is preventing me from giving this a solid "good/bad" rating at the moment.
