So can we talk about House? O_O

Oh. My. GAWD. House tonight was freaking EPIC. I had a feeling that somewhere down the line, they were going to do something in the ways of clarification RE: "Thirteen's" alleged bisexuality. But wow.

I was NOT expecting tonight's episode to begin with STRAIGHT-UP (pardon the pun) girl-on-girl foreplay. Holy crap. Watching with my parents, seeing two people kissing rather frantically and undressing...

"...*adjusts glasses* wait a tic...I see two pairs of cleavage in this romp. O_O...OMFG IT'S THIRTEEN!!"

It was a good episode, no question. I mean me, being as cynical as I am about well-rounded GLBT characters, I imagined Thirteen was gonna get fired for some shit, or the patient was going to die. I was already jaded when they displayed a MUCH MORE detailed "Viewer Discretion" warning than the generic one, for a twenty-second makeout session and one little kiss. Well, patient's fine, Thirteen's job is fine, but Thirteen didn't stick with patient D: YOU TWO WERE CUTE TOGETHER. As short as it was.

I did particularly like the one line, when Thirteen is cleaning out her locker (and I'm paraphrasing):

H: "Why not men? You're bisexual. It's easier to get assaulted by men, it's easier to get diseases from men. But if you're just looking for random sex with a stranger, you should go for men. Or ugly girls. But this one's hot. You sleep with women because women are easier to control. And if you can control women, it makes it easier to control what's going to happen to you."
T: "And here I thought I was just into boobs."

Truer words have never been spoken, Olivia Wilde. Bless you.

While I'm here, I maintain that House and Wilson still have an excellent old married couple vibe, but the House/Cuddy teasing for next week was particularly enticing :D
