So just now I almost died from falling glass.
I'm really getting tired of staying here with these people... Getting tired of getting hurt while trying to help out and just tired of the kind of people this couple is. It's kind of nice, thought, because even though they are in their mid 50's I am able to see their faults and tendencies of things that piss me off so that I can NOT do that as well.
Being around all these old people has let me stand on the shoulders of giants, and that is a plus. It makes me feel like I have the wisdom of someone older than who I really am, I just wonder if I truly have that wisdom or not.
Anyways, I only have a few minor glass cuts on my hands. No big deal. They're better than the thorn cuts all over my legs.
I went running today down in the old canyon. It felt easier than last time b/c I was able to stay on the soil which was more dirt than sand - the brown rather than the tan, so it was earier on the ol' calves. I ran much more comfortably, so I'm looking forward to longer runs later on. I think it was easier also because it rained yesterday, so there was a bit of humidity in the air. I hydrate with at least 40-50 oz every day, and even with that a run without rain feels difficult because of the rapid water usage. Because of the humidity today, I think it was easier on my body - I noticed I was sweating and didn't feel like my mouth was dry as easily.
I'm looking forward to getting my Edirol PCR-M30 this coming week. It should help the music process become more tactile. Plus I can mix songs live by hand with it. That's exciting, and I envision doing some live work in the coming school year some time.
I've saved the best for last: Erin! I talked with Erin last night, and we realy didn't have much to say, which was too bad, because I like to hear her talk about things. I'm hoping she can come up to MD and visit the Family before we have to go to school, that's an exciting prospect...
Beyond that, just doing autocad and working on music.
