C'mon Get Happy!
Okay, after my gloom-and-doom posts about the fate of Star Wars, I figured it was time for more uplifting ramblings.
Superman Returns is coming out this summer, and I'm really excited! Some of the more "die hard" Superman fans are in a piffy because Lex Luthor breaks into the Fortress of Solitude, but it's not like it hasn't happened before (remember Brainiac 5? Imperiex?). Besides, Luthor's probably smart enough to figure out how to get in. Plus, have you seen the trailer where the bullet BOUNCES OFF HIS EYE?! That's awesome. Let's see the Christopher Reeve version do that. Honestly, who CARES about the canon Superman story anyway?
Also, I found out (thanks to iTunes) that they're making a Simpsons movie! They have a teaser trailer and everything. Eeexcellent.
Obviously, everyone knows that PotC 2 is coming out in July. It's looking awesome, if Davy Jones seems more-than-just reminescent of Cthulhu... I can see it know:
"Ia ia shogg, Jack!"
Lol.
And finally, what would we do without good old X3, which is already out, but man, I do love my X-Men movies, even if they screw up the plot horribly (The only comic-movies I have a problem with THAT are Spider-Man and Batman).
