Pre-Emptive Strike THIS!!!
Well, I've changed my journal's title. I felt that it's more appropriate, seeing as how I usually get on here to rant my views about such and such political topic. Yes, I do realize the irony in that it's been a loooong time since I sat down and had a good, long rant, but I just have so much creative energy in other areas right now.
Basically, I'm now playing DnD for 20-ish minutes every weekday except Tuesday. It takes a lot of creativity and management to DM a huge group (we're at 8+ PCs) so often. Needless to say, it seriously taxes my brain power.
On the plus side, I finally had a nice long session today. It basically took the campaign and warped it to Eberron. It's my first ever application of polluted wormhole theory. It ruled. The actual adventure, straight from the back of the ECS, was lackluster, at best, proving beyond a reasonable doubt that PREMADE ADVENTURES SUCK ASS. Also, Bruce lent me his collection of Dragon magazines, which I've been pouring through. Ironically, I now have to remember that, as cool as it sounds, I can't play Spelljammer. So I skip those articles to prevent any insane jumps-off-the-edge.
So now, I guess I'll look to the (hopefully) decent future of my life in Arizona, since I've FINALLY found other gamers.
