I actually had to mute the Merlin and Arthur scene since i haven't finished the season, (it's only just aired in Canada and lord knows I'm not watching it online with crappy quality) I was so flustered when Arthur said" You're not a sorcerer. I would know!" Me: *covers ears* "NO MORE! LALALA NOT LISTENING!"
I normally don't vote and stuff with award shows, but anything to do with Merlin or the cast of Merlin, I will vote, like the world is ending! They are the only exception! (except for a few others, but that's not the point right now)
Unfortunately Merlin lost to Downton Abby :(
Look at Bradley's reaction to losing! Aww! I quote Gwaine: "Careful, don't want to rile the prince!" I mean it is disappointing since I really wanted the whole cast to win, since this is their last year to win anything for Merlin, considering all the other casts have at least another year to participate in awards and such. LMFAO at Martin Freeman! He's angry!
To be honest, I was pretty surprised of both outcomes from the categories. Colin had a lot of tough competition. But I do agree with a lot of the comments from the video, that this is his last year to win anything related to Merlin, and he does deserve his chance in the spotlight and recognition for his underrated talents. As for Downton Abbey winning, I never watched the show so I have no idea if it's good, but to beat Sherlock, Doctor Who and Merlin O__O? Well that has to say something. However to be perfectly honest, if Merlin didn't win I was expecting Sherlock or Doctor who to take the prize. I also agree with the comments on this video, Merlin does have more international fans than Downton Abbey, but unfortunately this award is a national award not international :\ Oh well, I guess Downton Abbey must be good, my friends watch it, except I don't. (all I know about that show is that it has a gay servant/dude who's name is Thomas i believe? and I only know that because one of my best friends told me)
I'm feeling a mixture of emotions, impressed, proud, disappointed, but overall ecstatic!
