Fun night. Though sorry, Annie. I said something loud and crass (and funny) to you in front of people and I shouldn’t have put you on the spot like that. I guess Duckie is rubbing off on me afterall ; )
*gasp*! My folks just up and bought me a new car!! I feel so…so…spoiled! Undeserving, even. It’s a champagne colored 2001 Subaru Forester. Sounds like it should be ugly as sin, but it’s gorgeous! All decked out with everything I need for the next ten or so years of my life.
So happy.
I was left another boon today. I was heading back to campus when I glanced to the curb at the right instant and noticed a random antler in the grass near the campus gate. It’s a big three-point that was sawed off at the skull. Beautiful knobbly base. Kinda fresh too, I think, ‘cause the scum under the skull plate is still pinkish and the scalp is still soft and there was a little oat husk in the fur : ) Kinda tells a story.
So happy.
