i went to the detriot institute of arts yesterday for an evening with shinichiro watanabe. he is the creator\director of cowboy bepop and samuri champalo.
there were a bunch of nerds there asking stupid episode specific questions that i wanted to punch. for example: "in episode 5 the character spike......" blah blah blah. watanabe was funny about it. through his traslater he basicly answered "i did it because i felt like it." everyone would laugh, good times. then we ran up to oslo's for some sushi. i just had the cucumber rolls. i am not that exotic. oh well.
