Help THROW THE BUMS OUT!

Hi all,

OK, this is really not usually my style, but I'm getting kinda worked up about this upcoming election. I am so there!

I'm so worked up that I am planning to do the early voting thing tomorrow, even though it means driving all the way to a library in Northridge.

(Oh yes, and I'm voting against the tobacco companies and against Chevron while I'm at it.)

BTW, aren't the early voting sites using the electronic voting? Those have been rather definitively demonstrated to be easily hackable. I've heard advice to request a paper ballot it you're confronted by an electronic machine; it's allegedly your right to request one. I dunno how big a deal that is, but if you want to be obsessive about your vote being counted properly, you may want to ensure that you get a paper ballot.

I'm gonna wait 'til election day and just use our usual Inka-Vote thingy, so I'll have paper accountability.

Some districts may not have enough paper ballots. What happened in the last 3 elections is that some districts were not given enough ballots. (For some reason, those were mostly liberal-leaning districts in states where a Republican was in charge of the elections.)
