Found this while browsing The Daily Kos on the subject of Embryonic Stem Cell Research: Has this irony struck anyone but me?
The main resistance to embryonic stem cell research is coming from Conservative Christians.
Christianity is a religion based on a deity that sacrifices his son for the good of mankind.

Wow, that's just so perfect!   (Well, actually it became perfect after I corrected a spelling error.)

Yeah, I'm still smarting from that stem cell veto....
