Franke's been having us take walks for our Creative NonFic class. I took about an hour walk around campus today and it was really nice just to enjoy the campus and not have to rush off anywhere. We actually do have a nice campus, especially by the res halls and if you ignore the half-demolished Van Hoesen building.
I need to stop thinking about certain things and just let whatever happens happen. I don't know why I'm so anxious all the time, or why I've been having these psycho mood swings, but I really hope they go away soon because they're driving me nuts.
Caleion Room's going ok. We have a new hostess and a new counter boy, both of whom are getting on my nerves. Also, one of the waitresses has been working there almost as long as I have and she doesn't know a damn thing. I kept asking her to go seat people because she was just standing there staring at the people at the door instead of doing anything while the rest of us were running around, so then she would come and find me and ask me where to seat them. She should know these things by now, it's not that complicated. Then the counter boy is pretty slow, I showed him how to do most of the stuff at least 3 times and he still has me go through everything step-by-step. I don't really have the time for that, so I normally get my own stuff, but even when someone else asks for something he will come look for me to help him. I normally wouldn't mind but I'm generally really busy and don't have the time to show him how to put dressing on a salad AGAIN. Tonight shouldn't be bad because DJ's working, thankfully, though he does spend 98% of his time flirting with the waitresses instead of doing his job.
Diana and I are agreed on the fact that we are both way too in our minds and therefore must get out of them.
And by the way, I love Phil Collins. Laugh all you want, he's awesome.
