Ask me about a pairing (or character) I have written (or haven't and you think I should write) and I will give you five facts about them or a ficlet or a song that is CLEARLY THEIR SONG or what they order from the

1. In my mind, he had feelings for Vicious, at least on some level. And that's the really tragic thing about how all of that went down. :/
2. Although in keeping with the general Bebop motif, he got the resolution he needed in the end: to confront his past and move on from it. And he's kind of a dual foil character, I think, so he serves an interesting role in the series. (Spike's because of the Vicious connection, Faye's because... well, I'll go into that below.)
3. Growing up, he was always a loner. He was always content to just be by himself with his music... until the war. Fighting alongside others and having to work with them made him realize just how important comrades really are, and even though he was betrayed by someone he considered a comrade, he took that lesson to heart. He saw something of himself in Faye, and was compelled to impart that lesson to her. (And I think he did. Which is one of the biggest reasons why I love their whole dynamic together and the Jupiter Jazz arc in general as much as I do.)
4. He was most likely drafted into the war on Titan. I don't really see him as someone who'd be entering the military willingly, and there was something really sketchy about the whole setup of that conflict anyway.
5. ... And apparently according to his wanted poster, he's 6 feet 2 inches, and weighs 172 pounds. Which is a totally useless fact.
I wouldn't even know what other songs to pick for him either. They're clearly Goodnight Julia and Space Lion. One of the awesome things about Cowboy Bebop is that it provided the perfect songs for its characters on its own soundtrack ;)
