I finally made an official complaint against my co-worker Darrel today. The comments and touching and gestures and pet names and over-all sleaziness have reached saturation point. My boss called me today and said he'd heard that I was having problems asked me to explain, so I told him. I told him about the sexist remarks, the sexually based comments, the fact that he flirts with 14 year-olds, that he swears in front of little children, that he yells at me and Matt in front of customers, that he's just a big motherfucking pig-headed asshole and I hate him. Matt called me today and I asked him to call Jeremy and back me up, as he has his own list of complaints as it is and it will help my campaign. Jeremy said he'd "look into it" and that "we'll figure something out". I don't know what exactly that entails or whether or not it means anything really, but one can only hope that things will change. I'm giving it a week. If the wheels haven't started turning in 7 days, I quit. Working a shitty job is one thing, but doing so for an establishment that won't even take action to preserve the dignity of their workers is another. We'll see. I'm working tomorrow night, and if he so much as looks at me funny I'm putting his face on the grill.
