I have an interview today at 2.00, and i am REALLY nervous!
if i land it, i will be changing careers. very scary, but it's something i have wanted to do for a loooong time. (one of my many hobbies and options).
i am a girl with too many interests. i know this. i have writing, photography, cooking,...
* i already have the culinary degree.
* photography classes are still a possibility for me, but only so that i can learn how to use an SLR correctly.
and i don't really think i need that. i see what Jennifer has to do, most of the time, and i can just take her key lesson ideas and do stuff on my own.
* i don't think college courses are necessary for me to pursue, as far as my passion for writing is concerned. some of you know this.
though my biggest complaint from people is usually that i have run-on sentences and hardly ever use capital letters.
FUCK YOU (i say this-tongue-in cheek)
* my phlebotomy/ nursing degree is out the window because of my horrible math skills. i failed entrance exams to community college TWICE for that. pretty sad, when you think about it...
also, i have spoken to a few people in the field, and they pretty much told me that the job is not monetarily rewarding unless i had branches in the RN profession WITH added phlebotomy knowledge.
if i get THIS job, i will take CPR and first aid classes FOR SURE.
i'm just hoping that if i get this job it won't be more than 30 miles' commute.
i am praying.
regardless, because i have my own vehicle, i am hoping they will pay me respectably.
i will be asking between $300 and $400 a week.
this will be enough to -
pay my car insurance monthly- $160
pay rent MONTHLY- $250
pay for lawn care service every other month- $50
and pay for my bankruptcy.
and STILL be able to live off the rest and buy groceries.
the bad part to all of this is that i won't be telling you what the job is until i get a definite answer from them ; )
i am evil that way.
also, i am in the running for 2 jobs. so that's 2 you won't learn about what they are until i get the definite answers! LOL!
but cross your fingers, folks!
