boy, did i get BURNT today! i mean CHICKEN FRIED!

met the girls for the revolt. we went to a place called Hannah Park, which is like a semi-private beach/camp area. they have bike trails, jogging trails and i think dog trails. they have about 12 different "pavilions" which are basically places to park so you can then walk to the beach.
each pavilion has its own bathroom and showering facility.

can i tell you sandy white shores, shells galore and sharks teeth if you know where to look. PERFECTION.

there were 14 of us there:

Chris, Frances, Me, Autumn, Robyn we are the ones that all worked together at the warehouse.

Chris brought her girlfriend Julie and 2 kids Alison (13) and Brody (9)

Frances brought her son John (9), her sister (17), the sister's best friend (i don't remember their names! EEP!)

Autumn brought her 2 boys, Dakota (13) and Dalton (11)

Robyn brought her baby, Wayne. i think he's 15 months.

we met up around 9am, and stayed till 2. i made sure to mingle with everyone appropriately-
1. Frances and i spent 15 minutes talking by the water line, while trying to photograph a 1/2 dozen dolphins frolicking in the waves.

2. i took a walk with Autumn so she could enjoy 1/2 a joint

3. i sat in the shallow end with Robyn and we played with her little boy.

4. at one point, Frances, Autumn and i all swam the 1/2 mile down to the pier together, to tell the kids to start swimming back to us, where we could see them better. then we all swam back together.

and 5. i sat in the sand with Julie and Chris and we talked about astrological signs, their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their compatability with others.

i found a lot out about myself, being on the cusp of Pisces and Aquarius. Pisces is a water sign and Aquarius is actually an earth sign. so while 1/2 of me CRAVES adventure, spontineity and creativity, the other 1/2 of me doesn't like change, is well guarded, grounded and reserved. it's like the waves (pisces) rolling over the sand (aquarius). i have freedom to flow, like water does, and i am encouraged, but i need to watch how big my waves get.
like, waves are healthy to ward off stagnation and collection of bacteria (bad vibes and events), but too many bubbles and too violent a wave can churn up the sand and thus ruin the comfortable life i know and hold onto for anchor and support.

this explains my bipolar behavior >; )

anyone in the mood for photos??

i THINK this has a dolphin in it, way in back. i only guess cos the splashed area off to its right looks like another just dove back under

Robyn and little Wayne

this is Alison, Brody, Dalton and John. Dakota was fishing with a small net, and the kids put the fish in this little shallow pond area to watch them swim

Robyn, Wayne, Julie, Chris and Autumn is in the back with the umbrella

at lunch. Chris (left) and Julie (right)

Frances's sis (with a rasta hat), and her 2 friends. the redhead was at the beach with us, but the other one just joined us at the pizza place

the only photo i have with Frances (right) and Autumn (left)

John (right) arm wrestling Dakota. Dalton watches (arms on table) and so does chris's little boy Brody.

Alison has a new "thing" for Dakota. she finally gets her wish to sit by him while we wait for our checks
