i feel like poop.
due to storms we have been having in the area lately, i just spent 2 days without internet service. EEP!
it was ok, though. i mean i am glad it's back on, but i was perfectly fine for a while. i re-started the book "Round Ireland With a Fridge", and actually only have 3 chapters left till it's done!
the next book i will tackle will be "Tunnel Vision".
Round Ireland= about a guy who backpacks round the circumfrence of Ireland with a little fridge. it was due to a drunken bet he made.
Tunnel Vision= about a guy who has to travel through and stop at every station of the London Underground in order to win back his tickets to Paris, where he will be getting married.
========
i kinda think there's a reason for things to happen the way that they do. especially when it comes to why i am such a lazy arse sometimes, or why i choose to do certain things on a whim, like i do.
case in point, for the past week now, i have been setting my alarm, on the weekdays, so i could get up at 8am, take a quick shower and go to the employment place that is JUST down the street from me, and try to land a job as a receptionist/secretary.
it hasn't happened yet. i have set the alarm, alright, but when i get up, i am either TOO tired from being up late the night before (with nothing to do, nothing is tiring me out for a normal night's sleep) or, like today, i woke up and felt like throwing up.
i didn't feel well today. had a bowl of cereal at 8am, then promptly went back to bed till 2 in the afternoon.
Wow.
had a 100.4 degree fever that escalated to 100.7, at one point, but it is back down again.
had a phone conversation with William. he gets so excited about wrestling and UFC shows that i have to hold the phone away from my ear sometimes.
he gets that way about Top Chef, too.
with tonight's call, i am afraid to tell him i have a job interview tomorrow.
i think i will only tell him about it if i land the job.
i have 3 other hopeful prospects. all within 4 miles of my house, so i guess my gas-guzzlin' days are over. my expensive jaunts will only be if i go to Will's or Jennifer's.
SPEAKING OF, i invited my little sis to the house on Thursday. i'm cooking us a meatloaf, and we will hang in my room, like a couple of teenagers, talking about boys and art and stuff.
yay! off now to watch the rest of this CSI episode.
