whoa...
today was a first for me.
i have been playing a Game Cube game called "Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy" for the past, erm,... oh,... month.
- i mean i've had the game a few years, but never finished it... like everything else in my life, i guess... *sigh*...
ANYWAY, i have been playing it off and on for a month. obviously forgetting why i shelved it in the first place.
there's this section. in this dungeon. i'm fenced off in a small square of space, but i have to fight and kill 4 pairs of deadly DEADLY monsters. one is an electric armadillo and one has sharp swords that he spins faster than Will spins his nunchucks. if i kill them, i get a another electric armadillo and another skeleton thing, but this one throws flaming skulls that move like boomerangs and never miss. after that is a large, 2-legged electric pit bull, and the knife/nunchuck spinning guy again.
I GOT SO FRUSTRATED,.....
i ripped the disc out of the Game Cube and bent it in half. broke it in half. and threw it in fury across the bedroom.
i NEVER do that!
but i tried getting past that section for 4 hours last night, to no avail.
when i woke up today, i said, "one hour. if i don't get it in 1 hour, i am NEVER playing it again."
guess i showed it a thing or 3!
i am off now to play Phantom Hourglass.
