so last night i'm sitting at good ol cici's pizza eating dinner with the fam and randomly my parents want to start talking about basketball and my future...well more so my dad...my mom threw in a few comments here and there...

he wanted to know why i wanted to go to san diego for grad school...where the hotbeds for talent were...if i had thought about anywhere else for after grad school...basically if i had some sort of a plan laid out...

so i explained...
internship--->grad asst. job while in grad school-->asst coach at hopefully a D1 school/large high school/good high school with talent and kids that WANT to play--->keep in contact with EVERY college coach i know head or asst it doesnt matter--->climb my way up the ladder

that grad asst job is KEY to my future as a coach...since i got hurt and couldnt play college ball im at a HUGE disadvantage but ive tried to make up for that by coaching now...but if i land a grad asst job ANYWHERE itll be huge...being on a staff in any capacity is what i have to do...

so that conversation over i didnt really think anything more about it until about 5 minutes ago when (i know go ahead and laugh) i read my horiscope on facebook...

"you're full of great ideas for you future, but what you're lacking is follow-through. work on making one of those big ideas happen"

i mean...do i even need to say anything?
