For all of eternity. Ignoring what lacks
In favor of what might we be
If only the light came down in such a way
Bent across the face in such a fashion
That it became popular to the majority
And pulled us all down with it.
Be sure that nothing will change
As long as there is something to change
But once we except the non-existent
Then the world will turn and split and fall flat upon the intellects of men
And the fortitude that we once suspected we had.
A poem and a song and a feeling and a way
That the light bends
Across my face.
And is smothered whole by new images
Shown by my mind, projected onto the back of my eyes
Screaming the truth?
Screaming a question
A never ending question.
