Some people think that the fact that anonymous comments are disabled in my journal makes me a coward. It does not make me a coward, this is my god-damned journal and I will run things how I see fit. I didn't defend any individual fuckers or any collective group of fuckers. I defended the concept of anonymity. Normally, however, everybody knows what an asshole I am so there's no need for it.

but using anonymous to leave snide comments is lame. and it's kinda like the flip of that whole "it's my lj and i'll say what i want..." people have the right to restrict a faceless troll posting big meanies in THEIR lj's...

not that i have any problem with anonymous posters. the only anonymous posters i have are l and my friend emma who just wont get an lj. she REFUSES to get sucked into this... heh.

See, it seems we are actually in agreement. It's not anonymity per se that is the problem, it's rude people acting naturally, just like STUPID MONKEYS FLINGING POOP at anything they don't like.

Which still does not fault Ramiel for his journal settings.

I hope you don't think I called you a coward, or said that anything about your journal makes you one, because I certainly never said any such thing. Please, friend, understand that reading between the lines with me will only cause problems because I tend to say things in NO uncertain terms. And the way what I wrote was written, which could easily be misconstrued as labeling all anonymous-disablers as cowards, no such thing is said about anybody. At least not specifically enough that anybody should take it personally.

But it certainly wasn't directed at you. I understand that you are just ECO and you have your reasons for doing things, and I pretty much respect your decisions unless I'm worried that you will be harmed by them (and even those decisions I usually respect). Please don't be mad at me
