It's All Over

I swear, if one more rude comment is posted on this journal, I will make all future entries friends-only.

Anyways, I'd like to dedicate this entry to the memory of Mr. Raymond Boucher. For those who don't know him, he was the colorguard director but worked with the marching band to improve our visual performance. He passed away just yesterday and it was terrifying to hear this. Yes, I will no longer be in the Feehan Marching Band, but he was a key leader in our championship last November. He will be missed.

So updating this journal, going back to last Friday ... it was my last full day of school, and the seniors didn't have to wear the uniform. I never have to dress up in tan Donnelly's pants with a shirt and tie. I have full freedom in wearing whatever I want. Anyways, that night, I went to the benefit "battle of the bands" at the Seekonk American Legion. My brother and All For Mutiny rocked out real good. Then it was a matter of time, waiting for Aston to do their thing. They rocked out like crazy. Then it was driving him and Colin home, getting some ice cream at McDonalds too.

Saturday I woke up around 8 and went to work at 9. It was an easy day. Then I came home and started a paper that would become my psych final. Then me, Kalen, Colin, and Brett (the bass player from All For Mutiny) decided to go to the Emerald Square Mall. That will be a night that I will hopefully never forget. It started when I decided to park in the garage. Colin had brought his video camera with him and wanted me to film him and Kalen acting retarded. Well first we all went to the food court and bought some tasty dinner. Then Colin and Brett wanted to get on the tea-cup ride. Then Kalen got on the merry-go-round and filmed them. It was sick. So then the security guard comes to us and tells Colin to put away the video camera. He was pissed. So we walk down to Abercrombie and Fitch where we look for Colin's sister, Sara. She wasn't there but this short woman tells Colin "If you use that camera, I'll own it." So Kalen asks her "Do you have to be really beautiful to work here?" And she answers, "You could look like an ogre and work here." So then we go to the candy store, and gorge on yummy food. God I felt like I was in heaven. Then Colin insisted that we go to Hollister to look for Sara. She wasn't there, but the clerk on duty let Colin film her saying "Yeah, I love All For Mutiny, they're the best band ever." Then for some reason Kalen and Colin wanted to go back to Abercrombie and Fitch and pose in the window. The woman yells at them, "Get out! Get out! You don't belong in my store! And if you come back security will get you!" So then the security guard tells Colin that cameras are not allowed at the mall, which is bullshit. So then we just walked around, where my brother and Colin kept starting conversations with random people. They were both like "double u double u double u dot my space dot com slash all for mutiny." So then we went to the Guitar Center and tried out their guitars. Then Kalen insisted on driving him and his friends to Berkley to see this girl I don't even know. So I didn't get back home till almost midnight, but it was funny seeing my brother get kicked out of Abercrombie and Fitch then telling everyone to look up All For Mutiny on myspace.com.

On Sunday, I had to wake up really early because I had to work at 7. Work was terribly busy, as if some big event was going on down the road. I didn't get out until 1, so it was a long morning for me. When I did get out though, I realized I had much more to do. I started making study guides for my religion final, started to study them, until I realized that the test would consist of me being given a description, then answer with the proper "ID." It was around 3:00 when I just felt like saying "bullcrap" to my exam. So I jump into the shower, change into nice clothes (I was still in my work clothes before I jumped into the shower), and drive off. Where was I headed? To Millis. I thought I'd stop by at Brittney's graduation party because I had nothing to do. Driving there was half the fun, given the fact that she lives far away, most notably somewhere I've never been. But when I got there the fun began. I think I ate so much food that I stuffed my face. But it was cool seeing many people I know far, far away from home. I think the best part of her party was when I was playing kickball and Eric Larson decided to whack me in the face. But in a nutshell it was a great time.

Monday was my religion final. It was a piece of cake. Tuesday was a Calculus test (we had already finished our final exams) and my Spanish final. They were a bit tougher. Today I took my English final then my Physics final. I also brought home my airplane. And as of now, I am completely finished with high school. No more homework for 3 months. It's happy and sad. I will really miss my 4 years at Feehan. It seemed like a month ago when I first met everyone at band camp, then meeting the cool friends I met in classes. Every part of Feehan has been wonderful, from the joke classes (Mr. Sankey freshman year) to the terrible classes (Johnsen, Collamati junior year) to the memorable experiences (winning the marching band championships senior year). These next 3 months I need to make the most of. These friends I have made are an integral part of my life. Yes, they will still exist, but once in college I won't be seeing them every day. So in the summer I need to go all-out and have a blast.
