Marching Band Banquet
So just as you thought that my marching band season was over, last night was the annual Marching Band Banquet held at the Highland Country Club in Attleboro.
It started with me arriving a bit late since I had to work before the event, but I arrived safely before dinner started and found a seat with Colin, Bry, Lauren, Jen, Matt Hall, Kevin, Jake, and Matt Smith. Bry was a guest ... courtesy of Colin. Well the awards took place and I received a flower for being a senior and an official plaque in honor of my championship. Then came dinner, which was a huge chunk of chicken parmesan with pasta. Then brownies and ice cream for dessert! After that came the music and dancing. Tom brought his music, including an endless "Sandstorm" and a "Cha-cha" that lasted around 10 minutes.
All in all, it was a great night. Thanks for a great marching band season. EVERYONE.
