Happy Turkey Day!
I'm home and looking forward to a long weekend of food and friends, though not family. :( My parents are in Virginia visiting my brother and sister-in-law in their new house and celebrating Thanksgiving with her extended family. I wish I could be there, but I have plenty to do in Illinois. I'm looking forward to a vegetarian Thanksgiving with Sarah and her friends this afternoon, meeting up with Tim and more friends at Beef House tomorrow night, and playing board games all day on Saturday. And that still leaves plenty of time for me to putter around the house working on Christmas presents, playing Sims 2, and snuggling with Cinnamon.
I have a lot to be thankful for this year:
1)Supportive family and friends -- it has been so wonderful to reconnect with you all this year
2)Cinnamon the cat
3)Finding a great place to live -- I love my townhouse
4)A new car
5)A job -- that not only provides an income and benefits, but is interesting, too
