More Detroit, and random thoughts

So, in a quick Detroit update, I'm now going to be teaching the Algebra 1 kids by myself for the rest of the time I'm there (two weeks). So, I have about 40 students. Things went pretty well on Friday, so hopefully they continue to go well :)

I've been thinking towards my 21st birthday lately. Probably has something to do with my best friend turning 21 :) While I talk a big game, I'm actually not sure exactly how much I'll drink after I'm 21. I will drink, because I know that there are some drinks that I want to try. But I think the thing I'm most looking forward to is being able to go out and do more stuff with people. Especially with the Breslin crew. Just the fact that I'll be able to get in certain establishments is what I'm looking forward to. But I'm not sure that I'll actually go out and get drunk that often, if ever. I guess we'll just have to see how much alcohol I can handle. But if family history means anything, I stand an incredibly good chance of being able to handle my alcohol ;)

Finally, I'm really looking forward to the start of school. I actually am starting to WANT to go to class, which is a sign that this summer off from classes was exactly what the doctor ordered. Plus, I want to live in my sweet apartment, even if I will miss my family and my adorable pets. Finally, I want to go back to work at the Brez, and hang out with my friends, and start working on SCC, KDP, and NSCS stuff. Yes, I actually want to work on NSCS stuff, believe it or not :P Actually, I'm trying to start working on SCC stuff right now, because if everything goes as planned, I'll have a lot to do in the fall that I need to get started on ASAP.

Ok, I'm done :)
