jagariko aka japanese snacks, ouran, haru
If you happen to run across a Japanese snack called じゃがりこ (Jagariko) by Calbee, and you like potato chips, you should definitely try this stuff. Crispy, crunchy potato sticks, but a harder texture than potato chips. And quite tasty - I like the butter flavor, hee. It's not like the butter flavoring on popcorn (wow, when was the last time I had popcorn?) but a subtle ... flavoring. Erm, yeah. Just try it and tell me what you think.
I got a little hooked on the anime for Ouran High School Host Club. I found it more interesting than the manga, but perhaps it's just because it was subtitled in English and my Japanese literacy isn't quite enough to get a lot of the vocab they use.
In contrast, I enjoyed the Haru wo Daite Ita OVAs, but think that the animation quality was pretty poor. I definitely prefer the manga. Just much more time spent on character development in the manga that they felt necessary to cut out of the anime. I didn't particularly like Iwaki's voice actor either. I'm kind of surprised at the animation quality. It's really too bad.
Ooh! Youtube.com has gokusen anime! And drama clips! Must check out... Ooh, the anime is looking even more fun than the first season of the drama.
