Debra's performance!
So..last night Yvonne and I went to watch Debra's solo!!
Yvonne planned everything out so we wouldn't be late to the show. She took into account
1)how slow I walk
2)the fact that I'd probably be late to the meeting place
3)her fear of tipsy
4)probability that she'd forget where joseph's house is
5)how slow I walk
6)...how slowly I walk
I brought along a bag of leftover brownies from a bake sale. I ate 6 pieces in one sitting and felt nauseous yesterday. >_> Yvonne was more...strategic though..she stopped when it got too buttery for her tastes.
Anyway, Yvonne and Joseph purchased two bouquets of flower for Debra! I carried the pink one, although Yvonne's bouquet looked more gay because it was a bright magenta. We broked into walked into Joseph's house to feed tipsy.[IT IS A VERY ELEGANT AND SPACIOUS HOUSE OMGGG]Upon opening the door we we were met with a prompt growl from Tipsy...such a friendly dog. TT__TT I told Yvonne this many times but I feel like I must repeat this statement over and over again. JOSEPH'S MOM IS MY ORTHODONTIST.
So after that we walked all the way to Ohlone. Technically I walked in the same pace as Yvonne, but I lagged behind pretty badly. HM...THE DISADVANTAGES OF HAVING SHORT LEGS gets shot
Because we had a lot of time left over we stopped at Mission Burger. Yvonne started playing tap tap...and I gave up after one round. >_>; I'm sure her itouch was glad of that because my hands left very visible fingerprints. Blame it on violin training!!!
The performance itself was really nice. The lighting definitely added a lot of dimension to each dance. My favorites were the soldier dance [lol yvonne's gundam wing dance], debra's solo [PRETTY RED LADY], monica's various solos [she had A LOT, that girl has so much stamina omg], all the dances with umbrellas and green/blue lighting, the concubine dance [it was sad D:]...okay yeah, and the multicultural fan dance!! [it looked cool in the gymnasium, but with proper lighting and a larger group of dancers everything is taken to another level omg omg]
Actually..I liked a good portion of the dances. >_>;
I ALSO GOT ART FROM MARIA YAYYYYY It's sea themed! SO SO PRETTY.
random: LOL WHEN MONICA'S DAD[?] CALLED UP DEBRA'S NAME AND SAID 'DEBBIE' I THOUGHT HE SAID 'BABY' AND I WAS LIKE HUH? BABY?
lol after the performance Debra was bombarded with flowers..Yvonne, Maria, and I somehow got dragged into posing with Debra. Yvonne fled..so I was stuck being photographed with tall/slender people. T_T()
LATER THAT NIGHT YVONNE DID FEEL QUEASY FROM THE BROWNIES LOLLL Proof that the brownies really were disgustingly buttery and it wasn't my finicky stomach being its petty self. >_>;
