Oh the weather outside is frightful...
Well, not really, or at least not just yet.
This morning, as I may or may not have mentioned previously, I went downtown with Mom. I succeeded only in getting some Assorted Holiday shopping done, getting a few things for myself, and making my left foot hurt. However, I now have presents for four people, a new book (Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, which you may have heard of and is damn thick), another book thong (this one has a shiny bead inside a silver-colored metal ring on one end, I'll try to get a picture up sometime), another magnetic bookmark (it's got a picture of a bird of paradise [the flower] on it), and a tote bag with a tree frog and a macaw on it. Also I have other stuff which will get a post of its own.
Anyhooze, it was already planned for me to come over to Dad's tonight so immediately after Mom and I got off the bus tonight we went to Bigg's so she could get potatoes for a potluck tomorrow and pizza for dinner tonight, and I got a frozen chicken fried rice and a pomegranate blueberry juice for my own dinner. We got home, I grabbed some stuff for staying over, and now here I am.
