Felix and King Kong
So there is this cat. His name is Felix. He is actually my landlord's cat, but he comes to visit us a lot, especially when I'm outside watering my plants. He is so adorable that we let him in sometimes, even though our cat, Catalina, hates his guts. So we only let him in when Catalina is in the back room sleeping. My mother is currently taking a nap and took Catalina with her, so I let Felix in. He is now taking a nap right next to the keyboard as is just about the cutest darned thing ever. I love him a lot. He will be the thing I miss the most about this place.
I saw King Kong last night with Noah. I enjoy his company immensely. I was going to pay for the movie because I asked him out, but he got out his card before I got out my cash. One of these days I'll pay for a date, I swear! The movie was really quite excellent. I haven't been to a movie in a while where the whole audience is reacting in the same way. It was clear that everyone in the theatre was feeling those tense spots in the movie. And everyone was scwerming in their seats during the bug scene. My only complaint is the one everyone else has, it is just too long. Definetely good, but at least twenty minutes of the jungle section could have been cut, and a few other scenes as well. I really liked a lot of different aspects though, and would consider owning it. Noah and I both want to see the original now, so we can compare it to this one.
