In one of Mayvell's journals she talks about how hugs are one of the greatest things a person can give to someone. And she absolutely right! Unfortunately, hugs aren't given enough to anyone these days. A hug can make all the difference in the world to someone, especially to someone who really needs to be hugged. That simple embrace of love, warmth, and care can make someone feel like the world isn't such a bad place, and that there is someone out there who gives a damn about them after they have lost all hope that no one cared about them. You never know when someone is yearning for a hug, so that's why we should all try and be pleasantly random and give someone a hug out of nowhere. Give it to your boy/girlfriend, your best friend(s), someone you don't hang out with too much but still talk to on a daily basis, your mom, your dad, your brother or sister, maybe your dog or cat. I'm not trying to force you to go out and hug every face you see, but do it often enough so that you don't forget what it feels like to be hugged as well. Life is short, you never know when you're going to go, or when someone you care about dearly is going to go. So take advantage of the time you have here and give someone a hug whether they're in need of it or not, it always feels good no matter what. Give hugs while you can, you'll make your life and some elses life a little bit happier.
I felt like I almost lost my best friend, and I wish I had given her a hug the last time I saw her at school before we left. A spontaneous random hug, maybe that would've made everything different, because those kinds of hugs are really the most precious kind b/c they come from the heart.
