You can't make this shit up!

After a very fun weekend I had to pick up my car in Cadillac. Why was my car in caddy you ask? I left it there on Friday after work when Sarah picked me up after her hair cut. Since the Spirit has taken ill, she had Bobo's Jag....I thought it best to not leave the Jag in Caddy so we left Jane the Saturn parked behind where I work. Kath-Kath and I went to Dairy Queen and then we picked up the very lonely Jane. About five minutes into the drive home, KK called me. I was confused as to what she could need since she was less then a min behind me and I had just stepped out of her car. When I answered I was thrown for what she said to me. "Kourtney, unless I am really blind, I can't see your license plate!"
"What do you mean you can't see it?"
"Yeah, I don't think it is there Kourtney"
"Why would some one take my plate? Just take the car!"

About ten minutes later I get out of my car in my drive way and my license plate, is in fact, missing. I call the State Police to see if I need to file this tonight or what you do when this happens, as it had never happened to me before. They sent me to the County cops. The phone call that took place made me not feel protected by the people working the night shift with the intentions of protecting!

"Hi, my name is Kourtney and I need to report that my license plate was stolen off of my car this weekend"
"You need to talk to the state police"
"They just sent me to you"
"They sent you to me? why?"
" I am not sure. They gave me your number and said you could direct me where I needed to go."
"They sent you to me"
(Seriously lady...did I not just tell you that) "Yes"
"Do you have your car now?"
"Yes I picked it up about 25 minutes ago and when I got home I noticed the plate was missing"
"So you have your car now? Only your plate is missing?"
"Yes" (Again I was just through this already)
"Your car was not stolen? Just the plate"
(Oh shit...did I not mention that my car was attached to that plate and now, in return, stolen)
"No I have my car as I just mentioned that I drove it home and THEN noticed the plate was missing!"

Only in my life would my plate be stolen and would I have to talk to such a confused officer!
