Why are people so dumb at airports
Last weekend I flew to my sisters for her Bachelorette weekend. First off let me say that weekend was, hands down, the most fun I have ever had. I love seeing my sister, my new sils, and everyone else! If that weekend was that fun then I can't wait till wedding week :)
With that being said....why are people so dumb in airports? I understand people don't fly and travel as often as I do; however, isn't it common sense? Take, for example, going threw security. You are given baskets for your lose objects...so why do you insist upon fitting your WHOLE SUITCASE in there? What will fall out of your suitcase and get lost? Just put it on the damn belt.
Secondly, do you not realize you are about to walk through a medal detector? Why do you walk through with your keys, phone, and change in your pocket? Are you attempting to challenge the machine? "HAHA machine...I got you good! I am about to walk through with metal!....Oh damn...busted!" You know you are going to have to go back and put the change in your basket; although now it is the tunnel already so you will hold the line up even more!
When the plane lands...you know that means that you will then have to get OFF of the plane right? Why, if you are sitting in the middle of the plane, do you wait until it is your turn to walk before you get your things together? You see the first class getting off so why do you not prepare to leave as well. You are single handedly holding up the rest of the plane!
Lastly, it is time to get your luggage off of the claim belt. Why is it that people do not spread out. 100 people cannot possibly stand right where it comes out at. It will go all the way around. I assure you that no one wants your luggage so you can feel free to move 5 feet away from the opening. If you do this, it makes it easier for you to then actually remove your bag(s) from the belt.
Wait...one more thing. When taking the bus to your car, for heaven's sake, please remember where it is. If you do not know then kindly get off the bus and find it yourself. I, like a good traveler, know where I parked my car and do not need to hold everyone else up. Do not make us stop at every green car when you, in fact, drive a van.
Please work on being better at this so it makes for a better traveling experience for everyone involved. If nothing else, the younger girl who has had no sleep for the weekend would not glare at you while you are on the bus!
