So, uh, this sort of ran away with my brain. I'd blame Mari and Ray, because it really IS their fault, but I always blame them so it'd be sorta like crying wolf. Uh. Er. Yeah

*^^* Thank you! I'm not entirely sure if I kept that voice all the way through--running out of time'll do that--but to know that it came across for at least some of it? Damn. That's awesome to know. Thank you so much for commenting!
Thank you! And heh, oops? I tend to drop down to Verb + stuff when I get kinda tired, and by the time I was done with all of this, I was quite tired. Oh yes

LOL Yikes that's like a pile of rack drabbles =/ Though I just had a drabble that overtook me. I'm not sure how long that ended up, not as long as this but considering none of my other drabbles were very long so far, this one seemed very long.
I just have to say now that this comment *still* leaves me speechless-from-flail, so I may get a bit rambly (err, more than usual) when responding to it.
I love writing ARs, but you're right, they're not easy to find a balancing act in. Merry and Ray have suffered through enough of me writing them to pound the need to keep consistent into my head, though, which is good. And man, it's nice to hear that I didn't lose the voice all together; usually I do some rereading to keep everything in line, but with the time constraint, I really couldn't.
*grin* Like I mentioned to kasuchi above, the story MORPHED on me, so I kept having to go back and go, "Did I make that clear about Rukia? Man, she can't be an actual Fed anymore, so here's a line about lack of ID on the badge..." and so on. The lunch scene got dropped in there for the same reason. The nice thing about the story taking off on me is that the brain kept up (mostly) with the details. Sometimes when the Muse goes, she GOES. And oh man, I'm blushing and speechless again. Thank
