Music acts as inspiration, too. My Ficathon piece last year was not the one I wanted to do, but had to pull it together at the last moment. The actual piece was inspired by "Fingertips" by Poe, and the secondary one was "Save the Last Dance For Me" by the Platters. And one day, by golly, I might actually write both of those stories.
But, but your Ficathon piece was so awesome, it melted my eyeballs. And um, I read a frag of the Platters and you must finish it before I die. Which will be soon if you don't finish "Their Song".

D'aww, thank you V! I really liked that ficathon concept, though; I thought no one would know it was me! *sigh* One of these days, I'll figure out its plot and get through it. And I love "Platters," too, but again, still in need of a plot. Stupid plots.
You can't die, I've allotted one day of each challenge week to "Their Song." First up: rewriting all that shit I did before Comps. *chest slap* HUH, LET'S DO THIS.

You've seen the reveal piece on her already, so you know about, well, what she does there--and there'll be more of that to come. I kinda want to say she's like Emma Peel, just sleek and badass, but she's also softened from the days I am writing to the days you are writing. She's got a dry humor and doesn't shock all that easy, though she'll pull out proper manners at weird times or as needed; she is
