Charlie was sitting on the floor waving a purple ribbon. The ribbon was actually tied to a stick and being batted at by Suzie-Q, but the image still amused Randall.

"Are you sure you want to take off?" Charlie didn't even look up from where he was playing.

"Yeah. I need some time away." Randall pulled his duffel bag out of the linen closet. "It's just a few days," he said. "You're not letting me back to the station yet anyway, what else do I have to do? Sit and wait for her to come back?"

"Well that is an option."

Randall looked over at him. "And when have you ever sat back and waited for a girl?"

"There's a difference between you and me," Charlie shrugged.

"Which is?"

"I'm more manly."

Randall grabbed a spare pillow from the closet and threw it at Charlie. "Shut up."

Suzie-Q went running and Charlie dropped the cat-toy and leaned back on his hands. "Seriously though. What if you're off...doing yoga and breathing and drinking tea, and she comes back looking for you? You'll be all pissed off at yourself for not being here."

"No, I won't." Randall disappeared into his room for a bit before coming back and stuffing some jeans and t-shirts into his bag. "One, I'm not doing any of those things you just said. Except for the breathing. Two, I'm not gonna sit here and wait." He shrugged. "I'm just not."

"What if that upsets her all over again?"

"Then she gets upset. There's not a whole lot I can do, is there?" Randall punched his clothes into the bag.

"No. I guess not."

"Look. I've needed this for awhile, okay? Can you just take care of Suzie and make sure she's alive when I get home?"

"Under control," Charlie nodded.

"Thank you." Randall continued moving around the apartment.

"So where are the two wild men headed?"

"Frankie's never seen Niagra Falls, so we're gonna go do that."

"You're going to turn that poor kid into a pussy just like you," Charlie sighed.

Randall smirked and gave Charlie's head a shove as he walked by. "Don't call my kid a pussy."

"Call it like I see it."

"So maybe we are pussies," Randall shrugged. He grinned. "It's better than him turning into a whore like you."

"Hey." Charlie held up a finger, raising his brows. "I am not a whore. I'm a manwhore. There is a big difference."
