This is it//And it fits//And it feels like this is good enough for me//Could it be//That the grass is always green? ~Staind

"Come on, Anna," Frankie pleaded, a grin on his lips.

"Anna, don't be a spoilsport. C'mon," Randall was beside Frankie, his hands clasped together.

"You guys have fun." Anna crossed her arms and stood back, a slight smirk on her lips. Both boys were soaked head to toe in their t-shirts, shorts and sneakers. Their hair was sticking out and plastered to their wet faces.

Randall nudged Frankie, and Frankie turned on his best puppy pout. His bottom lip jutted out and his brown eyes grew larger. "Please?"

"That's not gonna work." Anna shook her head. "Look, you two wanna be wet and soggy the rest of the day, that's your prerogative. I'm staying dry. Which also means I get to go to lunch, because I'll actually be allowed in."

Behind Randall and Frankie bursts of water shot up through the ground. Kids and teenagers were running around, jumping between each blast that came from multiple holes in the pavement around them. It was a fountain, but there was no pool for the water. It served as a fun place to get cooled off for the public near the history museum, and Frankie and Randall couldn't resist it.

Anna on the other hand was happy enough to watch, despite how warm the day was. The three didn't have plans to wind back to Randall's apartment for several hours, and none had a change of clothes or shoes.

Randall leaned down to whisper to Frankie, who laughed, then both looked at Anna. And they looked up to no good. Randall grinned. "Gorgeous.." They both started walking towards Anna, and her eyes widened a bit as she took a step backwards.

"Guys...no." She shook her head. The boys launched after her and she turned to run, but couldn't pass the crowds of tourists shuffling around. "No! No!" They caught up to her and Randall threw his arms around her and pulled her close, before Frankie grabbed on and hugged her too. Anna groaned as the water started to leak through her clothes.

"Now you've got no excuse," Randall beamed. He started to pull her towards the fountain, but she resisted. Frankie let go of her and stood there laughing as Randall leaned back, pulling Anna into the air.

"Randall! Stop!" She shrieked, but she was laughing.

"You're gonna have fun and you're gonna like it!" He shouted, turning and charging into the bursts of water. One came up right under them and shot water between them. Anna shrieked again, and as Randall set her down Frankie came running over.

"We got you in!" Frankie shouted, jumping up and down. A blast went off right behind him, hitting his hair and making the back of it stand straight up.

Anna laughed at him and pointed. "Nice hair."

Frankie's hand went to his head and patted it down. Another burst went off and got Anna in the face. It was Frankie's turn to laugh. Randall was laughing at both of them.

"Oh you're gonna get it," Anna said, setting her gaze on Randall.

"Gotta catch me first," he replied, taking off across the pavement.

"Get 'em!" Frankie screamed, charging after Randall. Anna laughed and ran at Frankie's side, and they chased Randall around, all three dodging between the streams of water and laughing.

Randall came close to running over children several times, and nearly fell on his face. Anna grabbed hold of Frankie and swung him through a burst of water, with Frankie nearly going red from laughter. When she dropped him he ran off, and she turned around right into Randall.

His arms wrapped around her tightly in a bear hug and he looked down at her. "Having fun?"

"You suck."

"But you're having fun."

"Maybe," she said with a smile.

"You are," he grinned, leaning down to kiss her. She kissed him back, her arms circling his neck. Frankie came back over.

"Ewww!" He cried, covering his eyes.

Anna and Randall laughed, and had hardly pulled apart, before a blast of water shot up between them and got them both in the face. Frankie peeked out between his fingers at their shrieks, and his head fell back in hysterical laughter.

Anna and Randall looked at each other. "Let's get him," the said together with a nod. Then they turned to Frankie, who took off, before they chased after him.
